This week at school, we started making a world map puzzle. With a partner, we colored continents and we will be gluing the continents on a large blue sheet of paper. We will also be gluing the names of the oceans.

   This was a fun week for the grade 3's. They started recorder. The song they have learned is "Hot Cross Buns". They earn belts when get the song right.

    We started learning about penguins. We watched videos on the chinstrap and macaroni penguins. After the videos, we wrote facts about these penguins in our penguin journal. Brook-lyn learned that the macaroni penguin has a red beak. Chloe learned that the macaroni penguin is the loudest penguin. Alex learned that the macaroni penguin has yellow feathers on it's head. Aidan learned that the chinstrap has a strip of black feathers across it's chin. Few words to describe the macaroni penguin are "They are MEAN!". Few words to describe the chinstrap penguin are "They waddle funny!"
