Penguin Fun!  

This was a very busy week at school. We had a presentation about "Les Voyageurs", a visit to the WSO and we also had different guest readers. On Wednesday, students worked in different centres and did different activities on penguins.  One centre had students making a vocabulary booklet about penguins, using facts they they already learned. In another centre, students read with Mrs. Pilat and then worked on comparing how we stay warm in the cold and how penguins stay warm. Our Smart Board centre had students reading about penguin chicks and writing down information about the chicks. Our last centre was an art centre, where students created a penguin puppet. We will continue working on these centre next week.
