Our Around the World Adventure Begins!
At school, we have been learning about Australia. We are taking an imaginary journey and right now, we are in Sydney Australia. Jacob has learned that there are kangaroos in Australia. Luciano has learned that the middle of Australia is a desert. Mackenzee has learned that Australia has the most poisonous snakes. Shylynn has learned that there are 1500 different species of Australian spiders. We will continue visiting Australia next week and our next destination is Africa.
This week, we have also collected pennies to help kids in Africa get clean water for the rest of their lives. Our class collected $50.00. We made a picture of kids linking hands with our pennies. Our message is that everyone from different countries should help each other and be friends.
Our class also raised $120.00 to help save a gorilla, a gray wolf and an orca whale. We symbolically adopted these animals through the World Wildlife Fund. We feel very proud that we are helping to save animals.
