Christmas is Here!

  This week, we had a winter concert. It went really well and it was SO GREAT! We sang "Mele Kalikimaka" and pretended to be in Hawaii. We also sang "Inn Keeper", "December in Our Town", "Rockin Old St. Nicholas", "Jingle Bells", "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "What Does Santa Say".

    We had Gingerbread centres this week. One of the activities was eating a gingerbread man. We found out what body part each student ate first and created a book. Other centres were the iPad, board game, making a craft, Smart Board and math centres. Yesterday we made gingerbread houses. It was YUMMY!

  A few weeks ago, we wrote letters to Santa. Today, we got letters in the mail from Santa. He wrote back to everyone in the class. We felt EXCITED!
