Hello Again! It's been a LONG time!

This week at school, we worked in groups to do research on oceans. Some of us studied the Atlantic while others learned about the Pacific, the Indian and the Arctic Oceans. We used the iPads to find information. When we were done, we presented our ocean to the class.
Mr. McKiel came to visit us and taught us about polar bears. He went to Churchill a few years ago and got up close to polar bears. We made a list of questions for him and he answered most of them. Maggie learned that a polar bear's paw is about the size of a dinner plate. Nate learned that they can live in the wild for 20 years and that the dad lives by himself. Gerri found out that polar bears are furry but dangerous. We will learn more about them next week.
